The 2011 Midwest Womens' MTB clinic was a great success. Over 120 women participated plus 30 guys in the men's clinic. All instruction was provided by IMIC certified coaches and we had tail gunners to boot. Brown Country MTB trails are pretty cool and unique- and plentiful! And I had no idea that the nearby Nashiville, Indiana is like a mini Gatlinburg- what fun!
I had the opportunity to work with a wonderful group of women for weekend!I
And got to coach along side of some amazing coaches. Here are some of them....
We worked on skills Saturday afternoon, drank Sierra Nevada and enjoyed a cookout Saturday night, more skills Sunday morning and a ride that afternoon. The thunderstorms limited themselves kindly to the wee hours of the night and morning....Fortunately my 20 year old tent is still mostly rain proof!
I'll post the whole gorup photo when I get my hands on it. This is a great event put on by Sub 9 productions- I encourage anyone interested to check it out next year.
